Skakavitza

Skakavitza

This is a waterfall on
the Golemi Dol River,
which is a right tribu-
tary of the Strouma
River. It is situated in
the Zemen Gorge
near the village of
Kamenishka Skaka-
vitza, Kyustendil
district, at an altitude
of about 75 m. The
height of the fall is
70 m. There are carst
springs near it. It is a
place for tourism.
