On the edge of the mouth, profiled outwards, centaurs
shooting by bows have stepped. They form the handles,
developing into columns. The ovoid body is decorated by
a relief figured frieze between bands of palmethas. Seven
big men in hlamidas are presented. Some of them, on the
tramped appeal, attack with machairs an ornamented ga-
te, behind which an old man is peering. Others doing so-
me guesswork. Under the handles, on the bottom, there
are two heads of black people with opened mouths. There
is a silen with a beard with a double barrelled flute offering
a kantaros. On the other side is the Child Heracle with two
snakes in his hands.
